What I believe in
Philosophy
Do you remember the first time you approached a horse? That moment, as a child, when you were fascinated and in awe. You wanted to understand it, to share something sincere. Not for performance, not to prove anything. Just for that pure connection, that instinctive relationship.
Then, little by little, you were taught the rules, the techniques, the goals to reach. But is that really the only way to do it? Do these methods truly correspond to what's best for your horse?
My unfiltered opinion: riding is anything but natural. It's not ethology, not inter-species communication, not some natural relationship. It's a counter-intuitive art that demands a questioning of some of our actions, and sometimes even of our motivations.
The horse is prey.
You are a predator.
That's the starting point. Everything else is built on top. The listening, the gesture, the decision.
What I offer is the culmination of 30 years of research, combining science, pragmatism and ethics across the world. An approach that doesn't try to pretend the horse loves being ridden, but builds a relationship where each one finds their place — without illusion or compromise.
A truthful approach to riding that transforms deeply: a horse listened to, respected, understood. A rider who grows, frees themselves from dogma, and learns to communicate with their animal in a different way.
If you're looking for a kind of riding that looks at the horse before the performance, you're in the right place.
